Some of your responsibilities
- Manage the dispute and chargeback process across payment providers and acquiring banks.
- Collect and prepare supporting evidence (subscription records, transaction logs, proof of service) to respond to disputes.
- Monitor dispute trends and identify root causes impacting dispute ratios and payment performance.
- Implement and manage dispute prevention and automation tools (e.g., Visa Verifi RDR, Mastercard solutions).
- Work closely with Product, Payments, and Customer Success teams to reduce dispute rates and payment risks.
- Contribute to scalable, system-driven solutions that reduce dispute-related costs as payment volume grows.
- Optimize dispute prevention costs
- Automate dispute response process
What we look for
- 2+ years of experience in Payment Risk & Fraud, Chargebacks, or Dispute Management.
- Experience on the merchant/acquiring side of payments.
- Solid understanding of the chargeback and dispute lifecycle, and metrics (such as VAMP, dispute ratios, etc.)
- Familiarity with dispute prevention or automation tools (Visa Verifi RDR, Ethoca, etc.).
- Experience with payment service providers (Stripe is a strong plus).
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to take data-driven actions.
- Fluent in English; international work experience is a plus.
